Andrew Irwin Abadie Jr., known as Egie to his friends, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 at the age of 61 years. He was a native of Westwego and a resident there all of his life. He was the son of the late Ethel Marie Alario. He is survived by his father Andrew I. Abadie Sr., his sons Andrew I. Abadie III (Alli, Fiancée) and Jared Holden; brother Donald P. Abadie Sr. (Peggy); sister Andrea King, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Egie was a true carpenter and craftsman. He had a wry and dry sense of humor and was a founding member of the "Night Trippers". (All who wear that brand know of its distinction). Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday evening, June 5, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00.
