Lionel A Hogue, of Alstead, NH, died on February 6, 1997 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Jaffrey, NH. He was born in Woonsocket, RI on June 26, 1905, the son of Albert and Evangeline (Champagne) Hogue.

He attended Woonsocket schools. He was a Woonsocket, RI resident until moving to Alstead in 1995. He had worked at Taft-Pierce Machine Co., and earlier at Brown and Sharp Machine Co., both of the Woonsocket area.

He married Yvonne Mary Audet who preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Richard L Hogue of Alstead and Paul E Hogue of Acworth; two daughters, Jeannine Kappelle of Blackstone, MA, and Eugenic Rousseau of Woonsocket; three brothers, Rene Hogue of Woonsocket, Ronald Hogue of San Diego, CA, and Albert Hogue of Ontario, Canada; two sisters, Lucille LaBlond of Woonsocket and Marie Jean LesPrence of Montreal; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
