Keith Frank McDivitt 66 of Pershing died October 27, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a short illness. He was born December 1, 1943 in Richmond to Emmet and Mary Parks McDivitt and lived in Pershing 33 years.
He formerly worked for PRC Recording and Proko Industries. He was a member of the Pershing United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Dorothy, three children Melissa A. McDivitt of Pershing, Brian K. McDivitt of Cambridge City, and Briann J. (Jerry) Ferdon of Cambridge City, two grandchildren Brea Ferdon and Leah McDivitt.
Three brothers Virgil McDivitt of Fountain city, Everett McDivitt of Richmond, and Paul McDivitt of Glenwood, three sisters Ruth Ann Loy of Arcanum, Ohio, Mary Lou Cavins of Colorado, and Ruby Hackenbracht of Eaton, Ohio, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers Elworth, Kenny, Gene, Cecil, and Lester McDivitt, four sisters Esther Dearth, Hazel Dafler, Barbara Shelley, and Mabel Sandlin.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in Pershing. Friends may call 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
