Daniel W. Abby, 50, passed away January 5, 2013, after a long illness at Lake Forest Hospital. He was a long time resident of Lake Forest. He was an avid fisherman, an avid WWII history buff, and he loved his daughters which he referred to as his "little darlings". He is a survived by his loving daughters, Samantha and Teresa; mother, Helen; sisters, Sandy and Pam; niece, Emily; nephews Charlie and Robert Abby. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and his brother, Bob.
A memorial service was held Saturday, January 12, 2013, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1380 N. Waukegan Rd., Lake Bluff. Burial information was not furnished.
