Professional Football Player. For two seasons, 1982 and 1983, he played in the running back position for the Los Angeles Rams after being picked by the team in the 1981 NFL draft. Prior to starting his professional career he attended South Charleston High School in West Virginia where he was picked by Parade Magazine as the high school football national player of the year during his senior season. He also played at West Virginia University, where he is currently ranked 10th on the Mountaineers' all-time rushing yardage list.
