Uncle James was my Mothers Brother. He lived on a farm in Arkansas where my family would go every summer vacation. Uncle James was a hard worker and a joker who kept us guessing at all times!

One memory I have which reflects his sense of humor is a time I went with him while harvesting the wheat crop. Uncle James handed me a hand full of wheat and told me that if I chewed on it for a while it would turn into bubble gum. I did and it didn't and when I complained he said "just keep chewing kid" I chewed for hours and needless to say the joke was on me.

Almost 40 years later, I still remember that and still miss Uncle James.
