She was born Aug. 1, 1928, the daughter of Norman C. and Myrtle Domino Good.
She was a member of the VFW and a homemaker during her working years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Burks; and her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Steward and husband, Ralph, of The Colony, Gail Curtis and husband, Mike, of Carrollton and Lisa Lefever and husband, Will, of Paris; seven grandchildren, Dustin Steward and wife, Melissa, Holly Williams and husband, Brian, Micah Ray and wife, Dana, Toby Ray and wife, Sarah, Dana Patrick and husband, Tanner, Jason Cohee and wife, Tuesday and Roy Cohee and wife, Katessa; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dena Metz, of San Diego, Calif.; along with two nieces, Denise Earl, of Anchorage, Ala., and Allison Filkins, of Paris.
