She was born January 23, 1941 in Lima, a daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy Irene Smith Bowersock.
On March 4, 1961 she married Albert F. Klaus, who passed away April 21, 2016.
Connie is survived by her daughter Debra Lynn Klaus of Spencerville and son Richard Joseph (Nancy) Klaus of Elida, step grandchildren, David A. (Cassandra Vasquez) Rayburn and Tiffany M. Wehri and step great grandchild, Lorenzo A. Rayburn.; and her sisters, Barbara (Tom) McPheron and Laurie (John) Ball, both of Spencerville.
She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Lanny Oakman and Roger Crites.
She was a 1959 graduate of Spencerville High School. She had attended the Bethlehem Christian Union Church near Buckland. Connie enjoyed camping, sewing, baking and candy making and her flowers and gardening.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM next Thursday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Kent Place officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencerville Ambulance Service, 111 S. Pearl St.,Spencerville, Ohio 45887.
