Delaney Gabbard was born May 16, 1999 in Madison County and departed this life Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Somerset, being 19 years of age. He was the son of Ricky Gabbard of Sand Gap and Tammy Adkins Lunsford and step father Scott Lunsford of McKee.
In addition to his parents, Delaney is also survived by his girlfriend, Katilyn Pearson; by his daughter, Layla Gabbard both of Somerset; and by his siblings, Ricky Lee Gabbard, Tyler Lunsford and Keisha Gabbard all of Sand Gap. Other survivors include his grandmother, Vadis Adkins of McKee; his step grandparents, Leroy & Edith Lunsford; by his great grandmother Rosie Bowman of Berea and by several aunts and uncles.
Delaney was preceded in death by grandparents, Ronald "PeeWee" Adkins, Elgar Gabbard, Dorothy Gabbard and Jesse Mays.
