A homemaker and a resident of Baker, Marie Eugenie Poche died at 4 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Lane Nursing Home, Zachary, due to progressive supranuclear palsy. She was 81 and a native of Paulina.
She is survived by four daughters, Loretta Braud and husband Kenneth, Sharon Reed and husband John, Deborah Kessel and husband Jim, and Lola Swenty and husband Ray; sisters, Antoinette Kling and Melda Petit; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Poche; parents, Moise and Eugenie Brady; and nine siblings.
A very special thank you to her extended family at Lane Nursing Home. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. She was an animal lover and enjoyed league bowling as well as arts and crafts.
