Rosemary A. Berrigan, of Rye, NY, died on April 5, 2002. She was born on September 25, 1935, in Queens, NY to the late John and Rose (O'Donovan) Alberti. Mrs. Berrigan graduated from Resurrection Academy and Our Lady of Good Counsel College. On November 28, 1959, she married Edmund Gerard Berrigan at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY. Mrs. Berrigan lived in Rye, NY since early childhood. She was a parishioner of Resurrection Church. She is survived by her husband, daughters, Megara McAward of Harrison, NY, and Michele Dolan of Norwalk, CT, and son, Edmund Gerard Berrigan, Jr. of Darien, CT. Also surviving are her sister, Margaret Lynch of Cohasset, MA, and four grandchildren, Erin and Timothy McAward, Jr., and Kellyn and Brendan Berrigan. Calling hours are Monday, April 8, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Post Road, Rye, NY. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, April 9 at 10 am at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, 1011 First Avenue, Suite 1400, New York, NY 10022.
