Paul J. Ream Sr., 65, of 506 W. King St., died today at 5 a.m. at Lancaster General Hospital following a seven week illness. Ream retired from the inspection department at Armstrong Cork Company in 1973 after 30 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 34, Eagles Lodge and Columbia Loyal Order of Moose. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William and Rhoda Ream. Survivors include his widow, Florence Mearig Ream, at home; a son, Paul J. Ream Jr., Lancaster; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gray, Lancaster; a brother, Victor Ream, Lancaster, and a sister, Mrs. Paul Swope, Lancaster. (Lancaster New Era - Feb 6, 1976)
