WILLIAM S. BOS
NORWICH -- William S. Bos died on Thursday at his home following a sudden illness. He was 53. He was born in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 11, 1943, a son of William J. and Jocelyn (Jeannie) Bos. He was a 1965 graduate of Dartmouth College, and a 1976 graduate of Vermont Law School in South Royalton.

On Oct. 1, 1967 he was married to Lydia Orens.

Mr. Bos served as Windsor County deputy state's attorney from 1979 to 1983, and the Windsor County state's attorney from 1983 to 1987. Following his years in public office, he opened a private law practice in Hartford. He had been Involved in local youth sports as a part time radio sportscaster.

Friends are encouraged to stop by the family home on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Hanover Youth Hockey Program, P.O. Box 849, Norwich, Vt. 05055.
