Anna M. Kremitzki
Newman - Anna M. Kremitzki, 79, of Newman died at 8:05 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Newman Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Joines Appleby Funeral Home in Newman. Father Paul Skelton will officiate. Burial will be held in Newman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kremitzki was born May 27, 1928, in Petersburg, a daughter of Paul and Theresa Duncheon Vogt. She married Henry Kremitzki Jr. on Sept. 30, 1950, in Springfield. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1991. Mrs. Kremitzki also was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Vogt.

Surviving are 10 children, Jo (Jerry) Derby of Newman, Michael (Cathy) Kremitzki of Camargo, Sandra (Dennis) Willeford of Mackinaw, Henry (Sue) Kremitzki of Brocton, Teresa (Jon) Jenkins of Arcola, Carole (Dan) Stephenson of Mackinaw, Jeffrey Kremitzki of Hume, Susan Kremitzki of Mattoon, James Kremitzki of Newman and John Kremitzki of Newman; 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Agnes Moscardelli of Springfield and Arlene Minder of Rochester.

Mrs. Kremitzki was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hume. She was a retired nurse, who graduated from St. John's School of Nursing. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, as well as crocheting, bicycling and watching Illini basketball.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hume.
