Funeral services for Cecil Wayne Turner, 57, of 2513 Davis Road will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Tom Huhn will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today, Feb. 7, in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Turner died at 1:05 a.m. Saturday in a Houston hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of El Dorado, Ark., he had lived in West Lake 18 years. He worked for the Sun Oil Co. for 35 years, and was active in local and district Boy Scout activities. He was a member of the American Petroleum Institute, served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 370 of West Lake.
