Ms. Ashley Nicole Snedeker and JoLea Michelle Byrd of Steinhatchee passed away tracically on Thursday, November 22, 2007 as the result of an automobile accident. Both mother and daughter have spent their lifetime in Dixie and Taylor County.
JoLea was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Tommy Cline and both were preceded in death by Ashley's grandfathers and JoLea's great-grandfathers, Johnny Ray McElreath and Russell Snededer, Sr.
They are survived by spouse and father, Jason Byrd; Ashley's parents and JoLea's maternal grandparents Doug and Darlene Snedeker of Old Town and Tammy and Tony Bryson of Trenton; JoLea's paternal grandmother Carol Cline of Steinhatchee; Ashley's sisters and JoLea's aunts, Megan Ann Snedeker and Toni Breann K. Bryson both of Trenton; Ashley's step-sister, Amanda Reeves of Old Town; Ashley's step-brother Jessie Reeves of Old Town; JoLea's maternal great-grandmothers, Juanita C. Parker of Brooksville and Judith Ann Green of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Ashley and JoLea were held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lindsey officiating.
