Mr. Morrow passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the residence of his daughter.
He was born January 30, 1937 in Alcorn County, MS to Bruness A. Morrow and Lillie (Killough) Morrow.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Antioch #2 Baptist Church.
He was a retired factory worker for General Electric.
Shelby is survived by his second wife Pat Lewellyn; his sons, James Dean Morrow and wife Barbara and Shelby G. Morrow and wife Sandra; his daughters, Rebecca Harris and Patricia Sullivan and husband Kenneth; 16 grandchildren, Tracy Farmer (Danny), Susie Strawn (James), Jessica Lee Gatenby (Todd), Stephanie Belcher (Joseph), Katherine Taylor (Randy), Casey Harris (Halie), Jessica Morrow, Jason Harris (Courtney), Carol Helton (Jay), Patricia Thorne (Krew), Kenneth Sullivan, Jr., Heather Sullivan, James Dean Morrow II, Alena Pierce, Whitley Morrow and Shelbie Morrow (Kyle); two step-grandchildren, Ronnie Harris and Gary Harris (Clarie); his brother, Gerald Morrow; his sisters, Merold Duncan and Judy Kessen; other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Nixon) Morrow; his father, Bruness A. Morrow and his mother, Lillie (Killough) Morrow.
