Betty Lulu Brown Pearson was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left us on the 1st of March 2022, at the age of 79.
She was born to Everett Conway Brown and Lula Elvira Davis Brown on the 24th of September 1942, in Springfield, Fairfax County, Virginia. Betty graduated from Garfield Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia in 1962. After graduation she went on to start a long career with the Department of the Army. After retiring from government service, she went on to have a career in low-income housing management.
Betty loved sewing, knitting, quilting and gardening. She was known to make baby quilts for family and friends. When the global pandemic broke out, she went out and started making face masks to protect family and friends alike from the spread of Covid-19. She spent countless hours volunteering with the Pisgah Baptist Church in Rice, Virginia.
Betty looked after 2 of her older brothers in their twilight years. Phillip, she looked out for until his death in 2018 and James she looked after until her death.

Betty is preceded in death by both of her parents and her sisters: Silvia Eliza, Thelma Sue, Iva Louise, Nancy Dale, Lucie Ella, Clara Mae and her brothers: William Everett and Phillip Henry.

She is survived by her three children: Cynthia Diane, Robert Milton, Brian Dennis, her brother James Conway and her sister Gladys Norine. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren: Krystle, Justin, Brian Jr. Stephanie, Christopher, Michael, Mark, Gary and her great granddaughters Victoria and Kaitlynn. She is also survived by many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews across the country that she cared for deeply.
