Samuel George Conn, age 77 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 2nd, 1945 to Walter Conn and Lillie Owens Conn.

Samuel worked for Tyson Foods for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, old cars and watching westerns. His favorite food was chocolate milkshakes, tater tots and fish sandwiches. Samuel loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Spending time with them brought him much joy.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Velma McKinney Conn of the home; his children, Carl Edens of Damascus, Waylon Edens and wife Michelle of Atkins, Samuel Conn Jr. and wife Sheila of Russellville and Joy Wright and husband Albert of Greenwood; thirteen grandchildren, Heather, Leslie, Justin, Grant, Hannah, Donald, Samantha, Troy, Sammy, Inoli, Golanv, Wohali and Shane; thirty great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Conn of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and numerous extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lillie Conn; and one brother, James Wesley Conn.

Graveside services for Samuel will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at Rock Creek Cemetery in Harriet, Arkansas. Visitation will be 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM, also on Saturday at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will follow the graveside service. Samuel's grandsons will serve as bearers.
