Tony Lee Bass, 59, of Fowler, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on April 4, 1962 to Thomas and Carrie Faye (Clark) Bass. He was a 1981 graduate of Hayworth High School in Kokomo. On September 17, 1994, in Kokomo, he married Janet Knoerzer.

Tony successfully ran Bass Family Trucking for 7 years ("driving for education"). He professionally drove for over 25 years. He was a member of Faith Christian Tabernacle, where he served as vice-president. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on home projects. He especially enjoyed being with his family and building memories with his grandkids. Tony was always willing to help everyone around him. He made sure everyone was taken care of....

He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Bass, Jr.; his parents, Thomas and Carrie Bass; and his step-sister, Charlyn Stewart.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 10 a.m. until noon (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home, 403 N. Front Street, Rensselaer. Funeral services will immediately follow at noon (Central Time) with Dr. James W. Blanchard officiating. Burial will be at Burr Oak Cemetery.
