MORRIS W. DENISON was born Oct. 31, 1825, in Madison Co., N. Y. He is the son of GIDEON H. and CHRISIANA (DIBBLE) DENISON. His father was born in August, 1802, and drowned in Lake Michigan, going down in the famous "Ironside." His mother was born in New York in 1805. In 1851 Mr. Denison commenced farming in sec. 8, on 50 acres of land, and about 1859 bought 80 acres in sec. 3, where he resides. His land is valued at $50.00 per acre. He was married Nov. 15, 1853, to MARY A. ABEL, of this tp. She is a native of Nunda, Livingston Co., N. Y., born Aug. 10, 1830, daughter of π†πŽπ‘πƒπŽπ 𝐌. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 π‚π‹π€π‘πˆπ’π’π€ 𝐌. 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋. Mrs. Abel was born in New York, Sept. 19, 1807, and died March 28, 1858. Mr. Abel was born May 7, 1800, and died Feb. 25, 1857.
