She was a 62 year old native of Montgomery County, a retired IBM employee and a member of the Christian Assembly of God.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Diania (Dick) Linkous Baker of Nicholasville; granddaughter, Carrie Sorrell; two brothers, Dallas (Carol) Walters and Hargis Walters, of Mt. Sterling; a niece, Joan (Herman) Brown; one nephew, Keith Linkous, and numerous loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lula Walters, and a sister, Opal Garner.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
