JEWELL, Robert E. October 28, 1918 November 17, 2009 Robert Eldred Jewell was born to Eldred and Elsie (Trembath) Jewell in Rossland, BC Canada on October 28, 1918 during the Spanish Flu epidemic and entered peacefully into rest at his home at Beacon House Spokane, Washington on November 17, 2009. Bob had dual citizenship and he served in H M Royal Canadian Navy during WWII as a Petty Officer Stoker on the ship Prince Henry. After the war he married the love of his life Catarina Maria (Katie) Orlandi in Canada. They moved to Spokane Washington in 1954 where they raised their five sons in the St Francis Xavier Parish and have enjoyed ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
