Mills - Funeral services for Bernard R. Laur, 55, a former Gillette resident, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Chapel in Casper.
The Rev. Doug Scott of the First Presbyterian Church of Casper will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.
Mr. Laur died Friday, Dec. 28, 1990, in a snowmobile accident in the Big Horn Mountains. He was born July 13, 1935, in Gillette to Bernard G. and Ruth V. (Lorang) Laur. He graduated from Campbell County High School.
He married Claudia Thompson on Feb. 24, 1979, in Guernsey. Mr. Laur worked for Fleischli Oil Co. as a truck driver. He served in the U. S. Army. He enjoyed outdoor sports of all kinds in Wyoming. He was a member of the BPOE No. 1353 of Casper and the Cody Snowmobile Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Don Haney of Gillette; four daughters, Tara Laur of Denver, Erin Laur of Everett, Wash., Linda Reynolds of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carolyn Snyder of Highwood, Mont.; a sister, Evelyn Worman of Gillette; and four grandchildren.
