Robert Fletcher Trousdale Jr., 75, passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2022. He was born on September 18, 1946, to Robert Trousdale Sr. and Sadie (Hunt) Trousdale in Evansville, Indiana.

Fletcher graduated from North High School. He was a big fan of watching his North Huskies and USI basketball games and of course, heckling the referees. He loved nothing more than watching his grandchildren on and off the courts and fields. He enjoyed fishing and riding his bicycle. He loved writing poems and journaling. In his early days, he was an avid fitness lover. Anything he did, he did it wholeheartedly. He was so compassionate; he always made an effort to give back by volunteering and donating to work with the less fortunate community and animals. Above all, he loved his family very much and he will be missed dearly.

Fletcher was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sadie Trousdale; and 9 brothers and sisters.

Fletcher is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Beverly (Snider) Trousdale; daughters Dawn (Matt) Vidoni and Brittany (Drew) Nelson; grandchildren Alec Vidoni, Jilliann Vidoni, Tanner Nelson, Taytum Nelson; brother-in-law Mike Snider and children Jamie and Nick and special friend Danny Doolin; many loving nieces and nephews; several granddogs and his special four-legged friend Petey.

Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service at 1pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel of Peace.
