JOHN SAMUEL REDMON

John Samuel Redmon died at his home in Andalusia at an early hour, June 6, 1934,
at the age of sixty-five years.

Mr. Redmon was born in Pike County and spent his youth there. Not long after he
grew to manhood he moved to Covington County.
Although his health had not been very good for several years and it was known
that he had heart trouble for the past four years, his condition was not
considered serious and with practically no warning death came.

Funeral services were held at Cool Springs church June 6th and burial was made
in the cemetery there. Rev. Jack Mitchell and Rev. J.H. Former officiating with
Patrick in charge.

Surviving him are his wife and nine children, two boys and seven girls, three
children having preceded him to the grave.

Mr. Redmon was a contractor and made his home in Opp for several years moving to
Andalusia in 1919.
