BROTHER OF THREE LOCAL PEOPLE DIES

Mass Saturday at Coudersport for William Buchheit

William M. Bucheit, 71, of 302 South Main Street, Coudersport, former St. Marys resident, passed away yesterday at noon at his home following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Bucheit was born in St. Marys in 1895, son of Xavier and Mary Goetz Bucheit. He lived for several years in Mt. Jewett and was a tannery foreman.

He is survived by his wife, the former Emma Helen Goetz, whom he married on May 27, 1915 in St. Marys Church and by six children. They are:

Mrs. Paul Tasillo of Coudersport; Mrs. Francis Garell of Ridgway; Mrs. James Rodell of Long Beach, New York; Andrew Bucheit of San Diego, Calif.; Willis Bucheit of Ormsby and Leo G. Bucheit of Coudersport.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Cotter and Mrs. Mary Meyer and one brother, Carl Bucheit, all of St. Marys; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the St. Eulalia Church in Coudersport with interment to follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends and relatives will be received at the Lindhome Funeral Home in Coudersport after 7 o'clock this evening.
