In addition to enjoying her family and church activities, Thelma was a volunteer and former Board Member of Pattie A. Clay Hospital, now known as Baptist Health – Richmond.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Dunaway of Irvine, Kentucky, Sue (Jim) Keeton of Richmond, Kentucky, and Althea (Eddie) Garrett of Miamisburg, Ohio; Five Grandchildren, Monica (Jay) Marrs, Charlene (Larry) Klein, and James Ray (Ellen) Keeton, all of Richmond, Kentucky; Shane (Tara) Garrett and Sarah Hofmeister all of Miamisburg, Ohio. In addition, she had 10 Great-grandchildren. Thelma is also survived by two sisters, Lynda (Montie) Parks and Mary Alva (Harry Dale) Fox, both of Ravenna, KY and a sister-in-law Margaret Wise of Ohio. As well as countless nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 45 years, Ray C. Dunaway (1993) and Three Bothers: Wilbert, Alonzo, and James Wise; Five sisters: Opal Crichfield, Crystal Ashcraft, Aleen Wise, Elfreda Wickizer, and Wavlene Dunaway.
Funeral services will be held at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home in Irvine, Kentucky with Rev. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial at Hood-Tipton Cemetery. Pallbearers: Shane Garett, James Ray Keeton, Aiden Marrs, Colton Klein, Reese Keeton and Graham Marrs
