Henry Wade Acors, 81, of Spotsylvania County went into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital with his loving daughters by his side.

Wade worked several jobs in his lifetime, but spent more than thirty years as a truck driver at Wilson Trucking Company. After his retirement, because of his love for the outdoors and doing yardwork, he started his own business, Acors Lawn Service. For twenty years he worked doing yards in the Lake Anna area. In the later years, he had two wonderful helpers, Junior Curtis and Buster Wheeler. Wade loved spending time with his family and being part of Bethel Christian Church for which he was a lifelong member.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Eubank (Milton), Tina Wheeler (Dwayne) and Leanne Hairfield (Jeff); grandchildren Jessica Wheeler (Zach), Mitchell Eubank, and Jennifer Lewis (John); great-granddaughter Emily Lewis; and sisters Shirley Harris, Peggy Leake, and Helen Henshaw. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice Faye Acors; and his parents, Henry and Virginia Acors.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
