Johney E. Westbrook, Sr., 87, of Call, Texas died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Beaumont Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 31 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bean Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30 at the funeral home. Born in Roganville, Texas, he had lived all his life in the Roganville and Call area. He was a retired truck driver with Trotti-Thompson road construction. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his sons, Johnny Westbrook Jr. of Fred, Gill Wayne Westbrook of Call and Richard Doyle Westbrook of Buna; daughters, Margie Cofty of Buna and Sheila Mitchell of Call; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
