Actor. He was an Austrian actor. He attended secondary school, which he graduated with the Matura. His stage career began in 1931 at the Deutsches Volkstheater in Vienna, the theater to which he remained loyal until the end of his life. From 1934 to 1938 Oskar Wegrostek worked at the cabaret "Literatur am Naschmarkt." He was a co-founder of the cabaret "Brettl am Alsergrund" and worked for a year in 1939 as a cabaret artist at the "Wiener Werkel". In 1939 Wegrostek got the Wien - Film in front of the camera and there were often Viennese films in which he, often alongside Hans Moser and Paul Hörbiger, took part as a supporting and small actor. Wegrostek continued his artistic career in film to the end. In films such as: "Seven Years of Bad Luck," "Schrammeln," Švejk's Flegeljahre," "
