Theodore Arnold Aanstoos (1885-1951) — also known as T. A. Aanstoos — of Cristobal, Canal Zone (now part of Colón, Panama). Born in Ohio, January 24, 1885. Democrat. Delegate to Democratic National Convention from Canal Zone, 1928 (member, Committee on Permanent Organization). Dutch ancestry. Died in Canal Zone (now part of Panama), November 1, 1951 (age 66 years, 281 days). Original interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery; reinterment in 1979 at Corozal American Cemetery and Memorial, Corozal, Panama.

He moved to New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York. There he met and married Helen G. Aanstoos. They left New Rochelle so he could work for the Panama Canal Company as a machine operator. Retired U.S. employee from the Panama Canal Company. Buried at Mt. Hope with his wife, Helen. Re-interred at Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
