Dorothy May Adams was born April 7th, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Homer O. and Dorothy E. Davis. She married the love of her life, Frank B. Adams, Sr on December 29th, 1950 in Seattle, WA. at the home of her parents. In 1962 Dorothy and Frank bought their forever home in Lynnwood, WA where they Lived for more than 50 years and raised a large and loving family.
Dorothy was an animal lover and owned several cats and dogs over the years. She loved camping, sewing, painting, travel and was a member of the gardening club, despite being allergic to almost all flowers. She was an active member of Maple Park Lutheran church in Lynnwood, WA for more than 60 years and taught vacation bible school for several of those years.
Dorothy can be described as Loving, generous, and unselfish. She was loved by anyone who had the honor of meeting her. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy leaves behind her Son's Frank, Jr (Martha) and Clayton Adams. Her Brother Ronald Davis. Along with her Ex-daughter-in-law Joan Weaver, who cared for her when she was unable to care for herself. 5 grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and 4 g-g-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Son John in 1968 and husband Frank sr. in 2007.
The family would like to thank Lynnwood Post-Acute Rehabilitation center and especially Tonya Fisher for their loving and tender care of our mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother for making the last years of her life comfortable and enjoyable.
