North Augusta, SC – Memorial Services for Mrs. Linda Chavous Anderson, 73, who entered into rest January 12, 2022, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Dr. Paul W. Noe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Anderson was born September 20, 1948, in Augusta, GA to the late Joseph and Wilma Chavous. She retired from the Medical College of Georgia after 30 years of service. Mrs. Anderson was an active advocate and volunteer with the Sweetwater Community and the Merriwether Coalition. Most notably, she loved spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Johnny F. Anderson, Sr., daughter, Shelley (Danny) Cannon; son, Johnny (Rosanne) Anderson, Jr.; five grandchildren, Kadence Anderson, Silas Cannon, Olivia Cannon, Sawyer Cannon and Seth Cannon; sister, Glenda Deganhart.
