KINGSTON -- Services for Earl Sidney Savage, 75, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Watts Memorial Chapel, Kingston, with the Rev. Timothy Peter and Annie Southerland officiating. Interment will be at Shay Cemetery.

Savage died Feb. 11, 1998. He as born Aug. 26, 1922, at Willis.

Reared at Willis and Shay, he married Shirley Fonville on Feb. 26, 1978, at Kingston, and worked in the hardware store several years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Bobby, Tishomingo, and Billy, Kingston; a daughter, Rita Arterburn, Fort Worth, Texas; four stepchildren, Pat McAlister and Karen Southerland, Kingston, Butch Christian, Dallas, and Sherry Welch, San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Marie Stewart, Outan, Calif., and Bennie Lowe, Durant; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter.

Bearers are Jimmy Boroughs, Lance Welch, Joel McAlister, Gary, William and Thomas Savage. Honorary are Ray Armstrong, Cecil Miller, Dowe Justice, Manuel Talley and Bob Massey.
