Obituary - Frank Furlong, 25, of 129 Java St., a drummer, stopping at the Princes Bay Inn, Princes Bay, S.I., near Tottenville, was drowned Tuesday while bathing in Princess Bay. Patrolman Timothy Ryan swam to Furlong, grasped his hair, but lost his grip when Furlong fought him, and the stricken man sank.

Also - Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock tonight for Frank E. Furlong, a contractor, who died Tuesday in his twenty-fifth year at his home, 129 Java Street. He was born in Greenpoint, and is survived by his parents, Frank and Malvina, and two brothers, Clement and Harold Furlong. Interment tomorrow will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of the Bosch Funeral Directors, 122 Meserole avenue.

His executor was his mother, Melvina Furlong.
