Her obituary reads: Mrs. HAGAN (mispelled) died at her home in the town of Freeman December 9, 1891, of asthma. Mrs. Tosten Narveson Hagan, aged 59 years and 6 months. Mrs. Hagan has been in poor health for twenty years and her death was not unexpected. She was one of the pioneer settlers of that town, coming there with her husband in 1859. She was a highly esteemed lady, an excellent wife and mother and her death has left many sorrowing hearts. The funeral occurred on Monday, December 14th, and was largely attended. The sorrowing relatives and friends have the sympathy of a host of friends in their sad hour of bereavement.
