Winner of the Indianapolis 500 (1922).Race Car Driver/Riding Mechanic. Began his racing career as a riding mechanic. After World War 1 began drving race cars. Was the winner of the 1922 Indianapolis 500. Competed in five Indianapolis 500's total and finished 4th in 1920, 14th in 1921, 1st in 1922, 3rd in 1923 and 3rd in 1924.
