Funeral services for Mary Laverne Dillon, 81, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Camp Ruby Church, Livingston, Texas with her nephew, Rev. Thomas Dobbs officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. before the service begins. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery, Livingston, Texas.
Laverne was born December 27, 1940, in Livingston, Texas to Troy Newton and Floy Irvie (Parrish) Dobbs. She passed away December 29, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Troy Dobbs.
She is survived by her husband, A.D. Dillon of Livingston, TX, son, Hilbert "Buckshot" Dillon and Tracy, Livingston, TX, daughter, Robin Sunday, Livingston, TX and step- daughter, Renee Helegra and Paul of Kountze, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Tommy Dobbs and his wife, Kathy, Livingston, TX, sister, Mildred Clifton and husband, Tommy Gene, Livingston, TX, sister-in-law, Barbara Dobbs of Oklahoma, granddaughter, Carrie, nieces, Kelley, Sherry and Jennifer and nephews David, Tom and Steven.
