Mrs. Iska June Adams, Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was 97. June was born December 6, 1923 in Cooter, Missouri, the only child of Austin and Ruth (Webb) Greene.

June was a 1941 graduate of Cooter High School and on June 1, 1943, during World War II, married the love of her life, Robert Joseph Adams. They together owned and operated R.J. Adams and Associates Warehouse Company for many years. She had been a den mother for the Cub Scouts and was a member of the Southport Presbyterian Church.

In her leisure time, June enjoyed knitting, reading and watching the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball, the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers. She was an exceptional cook which can be attested to by her family, whom she loved dearly. She especially loved her grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she will be missed.

June is survived by her sons, Robert Joseph (Linda) Adams, John Kenneth (Myrna) Adams, Garry (Rebecca) Adams and Larry W. (Lindora) Adams; her grandchildren, Melissa Adams, Emily Mirales, Elizabeth Mitchell, Victoria June Adams, Holly Anagnostopoulos, Sara Liess, Jodi Meinczinger, Jonathan Adams, Benjamin Adams, Karrie Rivers and Natalie Weisenbach as well as 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert Joseph Adams in 2007. The family is planning a memorial service for June sometime in the summer of 2021.
