Charles Thomas Aaron, 81, of Flowood, died May 5, 2003, atMississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.Visitation is 2 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson until services there at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. RickyGray will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Parkin Jackson.
Mr. Aaron was born Feb. 23, 1922, in Liberty. He was the son of the late Thomas Aaron and the late Katy Dixon Aaron.
He was a retired power plant manager with the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was a member of Flowood Baptist Church and previously a longtime active member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Aaron was a veteran of the U.S. Army and servedduring World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Archie Battle Aaron of Flowood;two sons, Robert Battle of Brandon and Jim Battle of Mobile, Ala.;two daughters, Joan Warren of Tupelo and Denise Blount of Columbus;one brother, Bobby R. Aaron of Liberty; one sister, Doris Hartof Liberty; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Flowood Baptist Church, 1649 Old FanninRoad, Flowood.
