Charles Mathew Aaron, aged 90, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born June 17, 1927 in Jenkins County, Georgia, he spent most of his life there. He served in the US Army in post-World War II occupation and reconstruction of Germany. Afterwards, he built a career in mobile home manufacturing while living in Millen and Thomson, Georgia. He was always a beloved part of the Four Points community. He was a lifelong member of Elam Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Irene (Freeman) Aaron, in 2012. He is survived by sons Charles Matthew Aaron, Jr (Sherri), and Mark Freeman Aaron (Jennifer), grandchildren Kristopher Aaron (Clary), Jonathan Aaron (Amanda), Hannah Aaron, William Aaron, and Jackson Aaron, and several great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be William Aaron, Jonathan Aaron, Danny Bennett, Nick Johnson, Charlie Dempsey, and Jerry Henry. Visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Elam Baptist Church; funeral service to follow at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the Elam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elam Baptist Church, 5199 Elam Rd., Millen, GA 30442.
