MRS. Elizabeth WILLIAMS
Mrs. Elizabeth M. Cotton Williams, 72, of 401 W. Mason St., a lifelong resident of Springfield, died at 9:15 p.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital after a brief illness. She entered the hospital Thursday.
Mrs. Williams was born April 20, 1877, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Spring. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Altar & Rosary society of St. Agnes church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are three sons, John C. Cotton, Francis X. Williams and Ralph Williams, all of city; five daughters, Mrs. Theresa Ardell, New Holland, Pa.; Mrs. Josephine Watson, city; Mrs. Peg O'Laughlin, Edwardsville; Mrs. Jane Cooney, city, and Mrs. Elizabeth Sij, Edwardsville; one sister, Mrs. Anna Hough, of Montrose, Calif.; nine grandsons, two granddaughters, great-grandson, five great-granddaughters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Remains were removed to the Kirlin & Egan funeral home.

Mrs. Williams Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth M. Cotton Williams, 72, of 401 W. Mason St., who died at 9:15 p.m. Friday at St. John's hospital will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Agnes church. Msgr. A. E. Glustl will officiate will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The remains were removed from Kirlin & Egan funeral home to the residence yesterday.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes church, Msgr. A. E. Glustl officiating. Burial in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the residence.
