They were the parents of Thelma, John William, Odetta, Keeble Cisero, James Royal, Lovie, & David Joshua Meredith, Jr. They lost an unnamed infant girl, who died as an infant, and David Joshua, Jr. who died shortly after his birth.
She was the only surviving child of John Houston Keeble and his second wife, Amarinthia "Emma" Susan Muldrew. Her brother, Samuel, died in infancy.
Her siblings from her father's first marriage to her maternal aunt, Martha Caroline Muldrew, were: James Taylor, John David, William Lafayette, and Mary Caroline Keeble.
