Sherman Logan Buried on Monday
Services for Sherman Edward Logan, Sumner trucker were held on Monday afternoon at the Avent Funeral Home with Rev. Greer officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Logan who was 57, died at 7:30 Sunday morning at the Tallahatchie County Hospital in Charleston. he was a lifelong resident of Tallahatchie County.

He leaves his wife; four sons, Thomas Logan, Ed Logan, and J W Logan of Sumner and Shirley Logan of Clarksdale; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Huddleston of Tutwiler, Mrs. Margaret Marvel of Indianaola, Mrs. Lois McBride of Marianna, Ark.; five brother, George Logan and Dewey Logan of Drew, Henry Logan and Harvey Logan of Cascilla and Gladys Logan of Memphis; four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Gentry of Meridian, Mrs. Gertrude Bryant of Batesville, Mrs. Mattie Sullivan of Batesville and 18 grandchildren.
