Mr. Tedder was born in Wilkes County, on July 15, 1928, to John Christie and Julie Ida Moore Tedder. He was a member and deacon at Liberty Baptist Church. He retired from Lewitte's Furniture in Taylorsville and also worked at Brushy Mtn. Bee Farm for 9 years.
Mr. Tedder was preceded in the death by his daughter, Linda T. Parker.
