Diana D. Alderson, 79, formerly of Meadow Lands, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 in North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.

She was born August 31, 1942 in Rochester, a daughter of Henry J. and Naomi Carter Dietz.

Diana had worked at the Tack Shop at the Meadows Racetrack.

She enjoyed going to the casino and traveling.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas Alderson of Houston and William Alderson (Kim) of Claysville; two daughters, Kim Alderson of Canonsburg and Diana Duvall (David) of Meadow Lands; a sister, Virginia Walker of Canonsburg; a brother, David E. Dietz (JoAnne) of Canonsburg; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Henry J. Dietz Jr.; and a sister, Amelia Alling.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Interment will be private.
