Ms. Archie Mae McBurrows was born on December 18, 1948 in Pavo, GA to the late Elbert McBurrows Jr. and Essie Williams McBurrows. Mrs. Archie Mae transitioned this earthly home on Sunday August 1st, 2021, at the Pruitt Health Nursing Facility in Moultrie, GA.
At an early age, she confessed and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior while attending Marshall Temple Holiness Church. She attended the Public Schools of Thomas County. Mrs. Archie Mae lived the majority of her life in Camden, New Jersey. She returned back home to Pavo, GA and resided in Moultrie, GA for the remainder of her earthly time. During these times, she left memories with some special friends, Anne Pearl Allen and Lis Sneed who truly were with her through it all.
She preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Hill, Lois Myricks, Nellie B Daniels; Brothers, Samuel McBurrows, Wayne McBurrows, Eddie McBurrows; All Uncles and Aunties; Special Nephews and Nieces, Otis McBurrows Sr., Jo Ann Daniel, Jerry Daniel, Recius King. Raymond Wyche who was a special beloved friend to her heart preceded her death.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories two lovely sisters, Mrs. Ira McBurrows-Davis, Moultrie, GA, Mrs. Grace King, Pavo, GA; great niece, nephew Nyiesha and Keith were specially loved by Archie; and many other relatives and friends she has encountered.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Pavo, Georgia.
