Jack Edward Overcashier, 95, passed away on October 31, 2021 in Traverse City. He was born in Highland Park on April 10, 1926 to the late Frank and Eva (Reid) Overcashier.

On September 29, 1951, in Pontiac, he married the former Nancy Ann Mackie, who survives.

Jack honorably served five years in the United States Air Force during World War II. Upon his return to civilian life, he attended Great Lakes Business College and Lawrence Tech, majoring in accounting, then went on to a thirty-one-year career with GMAC as accounting manager, retiring in 1981. After retirement he and Nancy moved to Ontonagon, eventually settling in Traverse City in 1994.

Jack spent his retirement years playing golf and pinochle.

Jack was preceded in death by five children, Debra Ann, Lee Ann, Timmy, Tommy, and Timothy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Bud Overcashier, of Northville.

Graveside services for Jack will be held at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, MI on Thursday November 4, 2021 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to give a gift in his memory may direct it to The French Manor Tera.
