Alderman - Reba Carter Alderman, age 78, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born in Madison, FL on April 25, 1943 to Bryant Steven Carter, Sr. and Anna Hoyt Carter. Reba graduated from Callahan High School in 1961. She married Ken Alderman on June 9, 1968. Reba eventually pursued a career as a hair stylist and opened her own business known as Reba's Family Hair Care. Reba was a life resident of Callahan and was known and loved by many. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends, and family. Reba was happiest when she was sitting on the front porch surrounded by the ones she loved the most. She loved her church and enjoyed the fellowship she shared with her church family. Reba was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Reba is survived by her son, Wayne (Dianne) Alderman; grandchildren, Shayne (Marlene) Alderman, Shannon (Tommy Mcgee) Alderman; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Meredith, and Aedan Alderman; special friend and caregiver, Vicki Alley; brothers, Bryant Steven (Caroline) Carter, Jr., Johnny Earl (Laura Gail) Carter and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Ladson, Jacob Ladson, Charles Carter, Malcolm Burch, Donald Aspinwall and Travis Tison.
